What to expect

South Surrey Chiropractic and Wellness offers direct billing! All insurance companies are different, so we advise you to inquire with your insurance company for your plan benefit details.

eXTENDED MSP

Patients eligible for MSP Coverage Premium Assistance have 10 treatments per calendar year partially covered under their BC CareCard. This includes any combination of treatment from a chiropractic or other supplementary health benefits including RMT and acupuncture.

Patients with MSP coverage are required to pay the difference in cost from the private rate. Once the MSP coverage has been used up the patient will then be expected to pay the regular private rates. Our office can help you determine if you have MSP coverage.

WORKSAFE BC

An injured worker must inform reception if the visit is due to a workplace injury. Please be prepared to provide us with your WSBC Claim number and details of your injury.

Please note that WSBC will only cover one type of treatment at a time (ie. massage therapy/physio/chiro). Treatment for non-related conditions or areas (ie. not related to the WSBC injury) must be billed directly to the patient, separately from the WSBC claim.

EXTENDED HEALTH BENEFITS

Most workplace group insurance plans cover chiropractic care, registered massage therapy and acupuncture care.

At South Surrey Chiropractic and Wellness, we do direct billing to most insurance companies. This makes it more convenient for you and reduces out of pocket expenses! Your coverage is unique to you and can only be determined by you contacting your insurance company.

There are a limited number of extended health policies that require the patient to pay the private rate first and then are reimbursed directly.
